We’ve worked hard this year to simplify your annual benefit statement so that the most important information really stands out. When you look at your statement, you’ll be able to see three clear things:
- Where you are: how much money you’ve got in your HIPS DC pension at the moment
- Where you’re going: how much your pension could be worth at retirement, based on certain assumptions
- What you can change: how you could increase your pension by paying in a little more
The other information that used to be part of your benefit statement is still available via the member portal. Just log in to view things like the performance of individual investment funds, or the benefits that could be payable to your loved ones in the event of your death.
